Laptop batteries guide

Read this manual carefully before using the battery for the first time. When opening the package, make sure that the package and the battery are intact. Use only compatible battery types with your laptop.
Do not throw away the used battery with the normal household waste, but hand it in at an official collection point for recycling.

Carefully insert the battery into the notebook's battery compartment and make sure that the battery locks in place. Make sure the battery locking systems are in the locked position. If necessary, also read the operating instructions of the laptop.
Do not use excessive force!

The charge level of a new battery is usually in the range of 20-80% and it is recommended to charge the battery immediately. The battery can be charged in a temperature range of 5 to 35 ° C. The first charge could take at least 12 hours.
From now on, it will take 2-4 hours to fully charge an empty battery.
To increase the life of the battery, we recommend that you allow the battery to fully discharge for the first 2-4 times and then fully charge it.
To allow the batteries to discharge completely, unplug the power cord and use battery power until the notebook shuts down due to a discharged battery. If you do not use the laptop and / or the battery, the battery will discharge itself.
The battery life under normal conditions is 500-800 charges or 1.5 to 3 years. Li-ion batteries have a limited number of charges.
The single operating time of a charged battery depends on the intensity of use of the battery and the applications used. Operating time depends on battery capacity, external devices and software used, screen brightness, and ambient temperature. Temperature is also important for the "health" of the battery. Do not allow the computer or battery to overheat and store it in a cool place.
If you usually use the laptop only with a charger, or if you do not use it for a long time, you should remove the battery from the laptop to prolong the battery life. The battery should preferably be stored at 40-75% charge in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight. A battery that has been removed from the computer and is fully charged should be recharged after a maximum of three months.
Be sure not to leave the battery empty! Otherwise, the batteries will lose voltage due to self-discharge, and the battery can no longer be used or charged.

You can extend the life of your laptop battery and save power by lowering the brightness of the screen and using the power saving features of your laptop. When using a laptop, close unnecessary programs and disconnect devices you are not using. Have your laptop serviced regularly (once a year). We recommend that you connect to the mains when writing CD / DVD blanks.

Refer to your notebook's instruction manual, but in general, your computer has indicators:
• Green light is blinking - the battery is being charged
• Green light on - The battery is charged
• Red light is blinking - battery low
• The indicator light is off - the battery is empty

Do not charge the laptop or keep it plugged in during a lightning storm.
Do not charge the battery with an incompatible device.
Avoid dropping or shaking the battery. Avoid causing physical injury to the battery.
Do not attempt to open or repair the battery.
Avoid exposing the battery to liquids. Using a wet battery may result in electric shock or fire.
Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight or direct heat. Outside the computer, store the battery in an antistatic plastic bag and in a cool, dry place.
Use the battery only with compatible laptop models.

• All batteries have a 6-month warranty. The warranty period shall take effect from the date indicated on the accompanying document for the issue of the goods.
• In the event of a warranty claim, the defective battery will be replaced with a new equivalent battery. The replaceable battery remains the property of the warranty provider.
• The warranty is based on the original or a copy of the document of purchase of the goods, which shows the date of the transaction, the product name and serial number or the product code marked on the device.
• Detection of warranty not being valid is the responsibility of the seller and is based on the warranty conditions.
• The seller does not transport warranty goods or pay postage unless agreed otherwise.
• Batteries are only covered by the warranty in the event of a manufacturer's defect. It is the customer's responsibility to notify the seller of the defect as soon as possible.

• The battery is charged with incorrect or incompatible devices
• The battery may be shaken or dropped
• The battery has received an overvoltage
• The battery is short-circuited
• An attempt has been made to open the battery
• The battery has been used in a computer that is out of order or incompatible with the battery
• The battery has been physically damaged
• Stickers or serial numbers on the battery have been removed or damaged
If there is a problem with the battery you are using, notify the seller by phone or e-mail of the defective product.
Send the defective battery to the seller with a copy of the purchase document and a detailed description of the problem.
If the battery meets the warranty conditions, the seller will replace the defective battery cells or send the customer a replacement product within 30 days from the day the defective product reached the seller. If the battery cannot be repaired or replaced, the seller will reimburse the cost of the battery and, by agreement, the transport costs.
